Certain clients fail to connect to Halo Wi-Fi

Este artigo se aplica:

If only certain clients fail to connect to your Halo’s Wi-Fi network, Please follow the steps below for troubleshooting:

1. Enable a Guest network with no security using only the 2.4Ghz band and check whether the device can connect to the network.

2. Confirm that you are trying to connect to the correct network and are using the correct password.

3. Ensure there are no special characters in the SSID and wireless password, such as space, apostrophe. Remove any spaces at the beginning or end of the SSID to prevent connection issues.

If possible, change the SSID and password with only numbers and letters.

4. Change the wireless security type on the MERCUSYS App. You can tap More > Wi-Fi > Security to change the wireless security type. (Some Devices Have Difficulty with Newer Standards such as WPA3, or may not be compatible at all)

5. Launch the MERCUSYS App and go to More > Deny List, ensure no devices are listed in the Deny List.

6. Launch the MERCUSYS App and go to More > Advanced, disable the Beamforming and Fast Roaming features.

If you are still having issues and the above has not helped, please contact MERCUSYS Technical Support for assistance.
