How to update firmware of MERCUSYS cameras in MERCUSYS app

The firmware of the MERCUSYS cameras can only be updated by using the MERCUSYS App. Here, we introduce the method to update the firmware via the MERCUSYS app. Please make sure you've downloaded this app before continuing.

Before you begin:

Please log into the MERCUSYS app with your cloud account and make sure you can control your smart devices.
Please note that do not power off your smart device during the update.

Here we take the Tapo P110 as an example.

1. On the Cameras page, tap on “manage”.

2. On the Live View page, tap the gear icon to enter the Device Settings page.

Locate the Settings button in the top-right corner of the page.

3. You can tap Firmware Update on the Device Settings page to check for updating the firmware and customizing Auto Update Time.

Scroll down and tap "Firmware Update" section. Tap on “Auto Update”. Tap on “Update Time” and choose the time you want the camera to update firmware.

Note:

Not all smart devices support the Auto Update feature.
You can turn off the Auto Update feature according to your needs.
